Compatibility:

The product is not compatible with hard water (> 500 PPM & water with high TDS value). Please check
the compatibility before use. If there is a tendency of precipitation the product will not be suitable. If
the product is not compatible please use our alternative product RDL-55.

For other acids than normal Acetic Acid please check the compatibility before use.
Lab Test for checking the compatibility: Prepare 10% solution of RFT-250 (S) in hard water and keep it
for 1 hr. if there is no precipitation, then the product is compatible. The product must be diluted before addition
to the dye bath.
Preparation of stock solution (1: 1)

Shake the carboy well before making the dilution.

Dilute the product in the ratio of 1:10 by water i.e. adding 9 parts of water to 1 part of RFT-250 (S)

Operational sequence
1. Load the fibre/yarn/fabric and fill the machine with water as per MLR.
2. Raise the temperature to 45°C add acetic acid, acid buffer, sequestering agent & anti-creasing as per the given
recipe. Hold for 10 minutes at same temperature
3. Check the pH ( it should be around 4-5.45) and raise the temperature to 55°C
4. Add RFT-250 (S) solution at this temperature and hold for 5 minutes
5. Raise the temperature to 55°C and then add properly dissolved and filtered disperse dyes solution gradually
within a period of 10 minutes and then hold the temperature for another 10 minutes
6. Start raising the temperature as per the rate given in the above recipe and hold for 25 min at 135°C
7. Check the sample shade and then cool or drain the dye bath and proceed for R.C.
Important points for getting the best results

Preferably only acid should be used along with RFT-250 (S). In case one has to use other products like
sequestering agent, defoamer, dispersing powder, carrier, acid buffers please check the compatibility of
the system.

Never mix acid directly with RFT

Never use RFT-250 (S) directly. Use diluted product as per recipe

Please filter the solution before use as it forms fibrous precipitate on long storage
