It’s an information-loaded, energy-packed, two-day annual event where you’ll be empowered to grow your business beyond your wildest dreams. We’ve arranged out-of-this-world motivational speakers, break-out workshops, networking opportunities and our legendary Grand Awards Banquet for you. You’ll celebrate with, learn from and help mentor hundreds of your fellow Consultants from all corners of our country. Also, don’t be surprised if you find yourself dancing more than usual. WHO WILL I SEE THERE? • Hundreds of active Usborne Books & More Consultants from all over the country. You’ll make friends and business connections during the two-day Convention that can last a lifetime. • The whole crew from Home Office. We’ll be there, excited to celebrate your successes and share the very latest information, products and tools to support your business to infinity and beyond. • Nationally-renowned speakers. • Peter Usborne, himself! WHAT IS COVERED IN THE COST? • Two days of stellar training, including best sales practices, networking skills, product knowledge and vital information on system updates (You won’t want to miss that.) • Lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday • A ticket to the Grand Awards Banquet on Friday, where we dress up, have dinner and recognize this year’s stars • A ticket to the Closing Dinner Party on Saturday, where we put on our dancing shoes and cut up a rug • Access to the Bargain Books & Supply Store and the MORE! Store, exclusive to Convention attendees • A signature Convention 2015 t-shirt, bag, guide and other giveaways, like new products WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? For most Convention events, including trainings and workshops, business-casual attire is appropriate. Most people get snazzy in cocktail or gala attire for the Grand Awards Banquet on Friday night and for the Closing Dinner Party on Saturday night. WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN’T ATTEND? We hope you don’t have to miss out on the fun, but we understand that things happen. Here’s our cancellation policy. CAN I BRING ANYONE WITH ME? Your friends and family are more than welcome to join you for the trip to Tulsa, and one guest above the age of 18 may pay to attend Convention events with you. The Tulsa Convention and Visitor’s Bureau website has ideas for things to do around town while you’re in meetings. Nursing babies are welcome; we just ask that you please excuse yourself if your wee one starts disturbing others. UBAM will not provide childcare options, but check our Convention Facebook Event page to connect with other Consultants who may be organizing childcare during Convention. IT’S FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, RIGHT? Yes. Well, mostly. Team Leaders land in Tulsa on Thursday for leadership training from our keynote speaker and others. (To attend this training, you need to be a Team Leader, register separately and incur an additional cost). Following the Team Leader training, many teams gather Thursday evening for networking, recognition and fun. Check in with your Team Leader to see when and where your team meeting will be.
