December 31, 2014 Last day for discounted ($30) renewal of your 2015 Hotlanta Squares membership! January 16—18, 2015 Promenade Down Peachtree XIII !!! There will be no classes the week following PDP XIII 1/19/2015 and 1/20/2015 February 1, 2015 Membership renewal fee for 2015 is due. Promenade Down Peachtree XIII Promenade Down Peachtree XIII is fast approaching! Thank you to those who have already registered. The fee for the entire weekend (dancing Friday night through Sunday afternoon, pot luck snack station Friday night, continental breakfast and lunch Saturday, and Sunday brunch) is currently $105.00. The rate goes up to $125.00 after 12/31/2014. The major planning is complete: venue, host hotel, callers, and catering. Now comes the opportunity for y’all to volunteer to help make the weekend run smoothly and ensure all of the dancers have a fabulous time! December 2014 page 2 Frequent Dancers Dance for Free ! Hotlanta Squares’ first “Frequent Dancer” flight has come to an end, and we’re happy to announce that the following members attended all of our dances this year, and will get a free entry to the Holiday Dance on December 13th! Here’s what we’re currently looking for: Order and pick up sheet cakes from Sam’s Club or Costco for Saturday evening Help setting up Friday night snack station, and checking in a few times during the evening to make sure area is presentable Pack up leftovers ~10 p.m. to take to party at the Marriott Set-up help for Saturday breakfast Keep tabs on coffee pots, refill if necessary, and clean out before we go to lunch Monitor snacks in break room Saturday afternoon Help cutting and passing out cake Saturday evening Clean break room Saturday evening so it’s ready for Sunday brunch catering set-up 50-50 ticket sales Friday & Saturday Set out gift baskets and fly-in swaps on Saturday Help man registration table (there will be a more formal sign-up sheet soon) Like they say, it takes a village!
