With state and federal government* sharing equally in the estimated $1,039,000 cost, more than
12 miles of highways and four
bridges will be built in Erie County during the next three years.
The announcement was made
yesterday by Arthur J. Yaw, county highway superintendent, who
added that the county also plans to
resurface 13 roads with funds from
its $1,000,000 maintenance appropriation.
Also on schedule are construction by the county of three bridges
and four roads at a cost of about
$170,000, which wert postponed
since 1941 because of the war.
