WPS INTERACTIVE PESTICIDE
SAFETY TRAINING
This effective and relevant pesticide safety
training program exceeds the handler
training requirements of the Worker
Protection Standard (WPS). It also covers
the newly required Globally Harmonized
System (GHS) training.* While it has been
specially designed for unlicensed pesticide
handlers, it also provides excellent
continuing education and six recertification
credits for licensed individuals. Instructors
use different training techniques that are
effective in overcoming learning barriers
such as low literacy levels.
*The employer will still need to cover the
site-specific risks as required under the
GHS training requirements.
