The Hi-Tops Dance Team “I NY” Casino Night Fundraiser March 7, 2015 at Los Alamitos Race Track Dear Friend: On March 7, 2015, the “Hi-Tops” Dance Team of Speech and Language Development Center in Buena Park, California will be holding their fourteenth Annual Casino Night Fundraiser. The event will take place at Los Alamitos Race Track and will help support the Hi-Tops on-going trips, activities and performances. The Hi-Tops Dancers are a group of neurologically challenged students and alumni of the Speech and Language Development Center who have benefited greatly from the Dance Team. The Center services children from numerous school districts in Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County and San Diego County. The learning experience they are participating in has helped them overcome the limitations that sometimes others have put on them because of their disabilities. The Dance Group has also helped them become more flexible physically, and more able to work together as a team which is often very difficult for challenged individuals. This program has become a very effective ‘classroom’ where the dancers continue to learn and practice how to get along in the world. How can I help? You can help by making a merchandise donation and/or by sponsoring a gaming table for our event, as listed below, or by making a monetary contribution. Your donation will help support our very special kids and make our “I NY” Casino Night a success.
