SYMPOSIUM PROGRAMME
Transmanche knowledge-sharing on flora and fauna conservation:
overcoming fragmentation of habitats in the cross channel region

hosted by Royal Botanic Garden Kew, home of the Millennium Seed Bank.
Purpose of Symposium: To share experience
on the management of habitats and potential
translocation of species in the cross-channel
region. Translation will be provided.

Who should attend? Land managers, biologists,
ecologists, educators involved in management of
habitats and species across fragmented
landscapes.

The Interreg-Liparis project
This Symposium communicates the results of the
2013-2015 Interreg-Liparis project implemented
by the Conservatoire d'espaces naturels du Nord
et du Pas-de-Calais, Kent Wildlife Trust,
Conservatoire botanique national de Bailleul,
Plantlife, and The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Interreg-Liparis 2013-2015 mis en œuvre par le
Conservatoire d'espaces naturels du Nord et du
Pas-de-Calais, Kent Wildlife Trust, Conservatoire
botanique national de Bailleul, Plantlife, and The
Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
The Interreg-Liparis project
seeks to address the fragmentation of habitats in
the cross channel region by building a robust
ecological network on either side of the Channel,
and investigating the possibility of helping
species move.
Le projet Interreg Liparis se penche sur le
problème de la fragmentation et la déconnexion
des hábitats par la création d’un réseau
écologique robuste de chaque côté de la Manche
et étudie la possibilité d’aider les espèces à se
déplacer.
