Baptisms: Children are baptized the 1st Sunday of the
month and the last Saturday of the month. Baptismal
Preparation Classes are held the 1st Friday of every
month at 7:00 PM.
Marriage Preparation: Arrangements should be made at
least 6 months in advance. Please call the Rectory.
Sacrament of the Sick: If someone is seriously ill at
home or in the hospital, please call the rectory. A priest
will bring the Holy Eucharist and administer the Anointing of the Sick. A Minister of Care can bring Holy Communion on a regular basis to those who are hospitalized.
Holy Communion for the Homebound: Please let us
know if there is someone who is confined to home and
unable to attend Mass on Sunday. We would be happy to
bring Holy Communion. Please call the rectory to make
arrangements.

2014 ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL RESULTS
The 2014 Annual Catholic Appeal is coming to a close. The results as of 12/29/2014 are as follows:

Our 2014 goal was $8,690. Since all payments in excess of our goal are returned to us to help cover parish
expenses, the excess amount is currently $5,788. If you have not completed your pledge, please do so as soon
as possible since 100% of your gift will come back to our parish to help fund our needs.

1. The Holy Name Society invites all the men and youths to
join them TODAY, Sunday, January 11 for the 8:00 AM Mass
and Communion. A light breakfast and a brief meeting will be
held in the Church Hall after Mass. Please join us and make the
St. Pancratius Holy Name Society a strong and active
organization.

2. Please Note: The St. Pancratius Finance Committee will NO
LONGER allow the parish to pay for parking tickets when
issued. Please respect the posted Parking Signs to avoid getting
a ticket. Do not park in the tow zones, on the sidewalk or the
area before the driveway. Double parking is also prohibited.

help support our Improvement Fund. Next weekend, January
17 - 18, the Second Collection will help support the Teach
Who Christ Is Campaign. Thank you for your continuous

4. Want to help and learn a new skill? BPNC and the Center for
Economic Progress are recruiting volunteers to work one-onone with families to make tax time an opportunity to get ahead.
The Brighton Park tax site will be located at Kelly High School
from January 22 - April 15. No experience is necessary. We
train a range of volunteers, including people with no background in taxes. If you’re bilingual, we need you! You can
volunteer as a: Tax preparer: Work one-one-one with clients
to file federal and state tax returns and provide counseling on
tax credits and forms. Tax site assistant: Perform essential non
-tax preparation activities including client greeting and screening, translating or tax document sorting. For more information,

3. La Segunda Colecta este fin de semana, 10 - 11 de Enero
será para apoyar nuestro Fondo del Mejoramiento. El próximo
fin de semana, 17 - 18 de Enero, la Segunda Colecta será para
apoyar la Campaña de Enseñar Quien Es Cristo. Gracias por su
apoyo continuo y generosidad.
4. Todos los Padres de los niños que asisten al Catecismo están
invitados al Curso de Biblia que se lleva a cabo todos los
Sábados de 10:00 AM -12:00 PM.
5. Cada jueves se celebrará una Misa de Sanación a las 7:00
PM. Se invita a todos los enfermos de la parroquia. La Misa
será en Honor a San Juan Pablo II.
6. El Instituto de Liderazgo Cristóforo los invita a sus Clases
del Invierno 2015. La sesión informativa e inscripción se
llevará acabo el Miércoles, 14 de Enero en la Parroquia de San
Miguel Arcángel de 7:00 a 10:00 PM. La primera sesión será el
21 de Enero de 7:00 a 10:00 PM. El curso es de 10 semanas. El
costo es de $100.00. Enriquezca su vida, actúe con iniciativa,
