Here at American Sports University
we are eagerly anticipating what great
tidings the New Year will have in store.
As we grow our base of students obtaining Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in
the multiple sports fields of management, marketing, coaching, and fitness,

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN SPORTS EDUCATION
Master of Science in Sports Education degree requires
completion of 30 semester units.
CERTIFICATES
American Sports University also offers shorter Certificate
Programs to students who are not interested in a degree
program but rather interested in getting into the sports
industry career and would like the necessary education to
excel in the field.

BACHELOR’S DEGREE COURSES
The following courses are required of all bachelor-level
programs:
General Education (Complete 30 units of required
courses, plus an additional 12 units of electives for a total
of 42 Semester Credit Units)
A well-rounded liberal arts course of study is essential
for any undergraduate education. Future leaders is the
world of sports need to be effective written and oral
communicators; proficient in mathematics, general
sciences, nutrition and health; and knowledgeable about
United States and world history.

Fox Theater
On September 20, 1929, the “Fox
Theater” opened on the north side
of Court Street, between ‘D’ Street
and Arrowhead Avenue.
ASU ACCREDITATION
ON TRACK FOR
THIS YEAR
The founder and president of American Sports University Dr. Harry Hwang is
actively seeking national accreditation for the university. He is pursuing accreditation from the largest accrediting organization of degree granting institutions in
the United States. Dr. Hwang estimates that ASU should receive accreditation by
December of 2015.

ASU Hall Rentals is the rental
department of the American Sports
University. Located in downtown San
Bernardino, just a block from the new
Regal Stadium 14 Cinemas, we offer
a variety of halls for your events. We
are set up to rent our various campus venues for all occasions, from
weddings, to parties, to seminars, to
conferences to Quinceañeras.

ACE CERTIFICATION
REGISTRATIONS
American Sports University is getting ready for its next ACE Certification course.
