An upgrade is a great time to review your infrastructure
• Do you need new hardware
• Are you going to run on virtual servers
• Are Operating Systems and middleware versions out of support by those vendors
Evaluate the use of existing hardware or acquire new hardware
• Available hardware that can be repurposed for the upgrade, to test the upgrade and do
your design and customizations and use for testing and training
