“Today I returned back to the church after ten years of
being away, I had only been a few times when I had
visited all those years ago, but I have kept you guys in
my thoughts ever since! I listen to your podcast sometimes while driving to work and used to watch it on my
laptop while cooking dinner. Being back today was an
amazing experience. I raised my hand when you asked
if anyone was having troubles without having any idea
that fellow members would come put their arms around
me and pray, and I completely broke down. My husband and I have been struggling through fertility treatments without success so far and its been a very emotional time for me, so when you opened up to Samuel
and spoke of Hannah I couldn’t help but believe that
you were speaking straight to me. It’s truly amazing the
power of God and when he really shows himself to you
in your life. I’m sad I’ve not been attending for so long
but today is the first day of a forever for me. I will be attending Wednesday and Sunday services from here on
out. I loved everything about being there, the music, the
inspiration, the warm fellow church goers around me.
Thank you for being such a lasting presence with me
even though I haven’t been there physically in so long.”

Our Annual Valentine’s Dinner Fundraiser is right around the corner! This is a
huge success every year. Our very own NEXTGEN teens host a dinner and all
the proceeds will go toward the youth group. This year they will be hosting
a dinner and dance. The cost is $15 per person for a great meal and entertainment. This is open to anyone, single, dating or married. Child care will be
provided for free that evening. You can register online or at the Welcome
Center. Be sure to come out for a fun evening and to support a great cause!
It’s not too late to join our church bowling league. We meet on
Tuesday evenings, 7PM, starting February 3rd at Sparta Lanes. The
league will run for 16 weeks. You don’t need to be a pro ‘cause it’s
all about having fun! The cost will be determined at the initial meeting we will be having on February 3rd at 6:30PM at the bowling alley.
Starting February 8th, CFFC will provide a live spanish translation of Pastor Tom’s message at the 11AM service every Sunday. Please help us get
the word out to anyone whose first language is Spanish. Headsets for the
translation can be picked up/dropped off at the Welcome Center in the
church foyer before and after service. Thank you for helping us reach
and impact the Hispanic community and Sussex County and beyond.
There is still room for you!
CFFC is offering 3 short-term mission trips this year:
Dream Center, L.A. | July 20th - 26th
Punta Gorda, Belize | August 14th - 22th
Elbasan, Albania | September 18th - 27th
There will be a special meeting on Sunday, February 8th
at 10:30 (in between services) in the sanctuary to share
details for these trips.
Here at CFFC we value family and relationships. We have a great opportunity coming up for married couples to strengthen their marriage at our

ceremony. It will be held on Saturday, February 14th from 10AM-4PM. The
cost of the advance is free. Child care will be available for birth-6 years for
$10 - lunch included and for 7-12 years for $15 - lunch and bowling trip to
Sparta Lanes included. You can register online or at the Welcome Center.
