Monthly Guarantee
Sequences dropped due to a month to month conflict will reduce the adjusted
guarantee by the value of the dropped trip. This reduction in guarantee occurs after
the month is complete. At that point your activity record (HI1/HI2) will reflect the
adjusted guarantee.
MMAX
With the new CBA, non-reserve Captain and First Officers in the same 3 part bid status
may have Voluntary Maximums set to different values, up to a maximum limit set to the
FAR’s. A pilot with NO Voluntary Maximum for a contractual month will be limited by
the FAR’s only. This will be indicated on the HI1/Hi2 as “MMAX FAR LIMIT”.
PLEASE NOTE: All pilots will show “MMAX FAR LIMIT” prior to the final phase of the
th
bid award process (approximately 18 of the month). During the final phase, the
monthly maximum will be updated to the voluntary maximum based on the pilots
awarded bid type (reserve or non-reserve) and their 3 part bid status.

LINE Construction Window
The Joint Scheduling Committee in following with Section 15.A.1.b. and
Section 15.D.1.c. of the Agreement, for the contractual month of February, has
agreed to the Line Construction Window modification outside the normal +7, -7
range as follows:
None for February, 2015
The expanded window does not affect overall utilization or number of line. It is
being used to improve line quality and prevent theater mixing in lines, which
would have been done solely to increase line value above the -7 threshold.
The change is for the contractual month of February 2015. Any continuation
shall be on a month-by-month basis and dependent on pilot feedback and the
schedule for subsequent months.

FEBRUARY 2015 RESERVE PRIMARY BIDDING PROCESS
Reserve Classification:
(1) Long Call Reserve (LCR) pilot
A LCR pilot is a pilot who was awarded a Long Call line as a part of
the monthly line award process. LCR pilots can only be assigned sequences
or RAPs with a minimum of twelve (12) hours between assignment
and sequence sign-in or RAP start time.
(2) Short Call Reserve (SCR) pilot
A SCR pilot is a pilot who was awarded a Short Call line as a part of
the monthly line award process. SCR pilots are normally assigned sequences
within a RAP with less than twelve (12) hours between sequence assignment
and sequence sign-in.
 Pilots awarded a SCR line in the Primary Monthly Bidding Process
will participate in a Secondary Bidding Process to determine the RAP
to be associated with their SCR line.
 Monthly Bid RAP table will be available to view on AAPilots no later
than January 20th.
 Bidding closes 26 January 2015 at 2000 HBT.
Pilots must ensure their date specific RAP preferences for January 27th
(XXXX/27) are updated with posted RAP preferences prior to bids
closing - date specific preferences delete automatically after the
specified date has passed.
 RAPs will be awarded/assigned by four-part bid status in seniority
order.
 The awarded/assigned RAPs will ONLY apply on the first reserve
available day after a Duty Free Period (DFP) or Planned Absence.
FEBRUARY 2015 RESERVE SECONDARY BIDDING PROCESS
ATTENTION:
PILOTS AWARDED SHORT CALL RESERVE IN THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY 2015
Pilots awarded a Short Call Reserve (SCR) line for the month of February will be
awarded/assigned a RAP on Reserve Available days that follow a Duty Free
Period (DFP) or the close (end) of a planned absence. (Pilots awarded/assigned
a Long Call Reserve (LCR) line for the month of February will not be awarded
monthly post-DFP/planned absence RAPs and therefore do not need to
participate in the Secondary Bidding Process.)
Post-DFP/planned absence RAPs will be awarded/assigned by Crew Planning for
the dates of 31-JAN-15 through 01-MAR-15. Reserve Preference Ballots are
processed as follows:
1. Ballots must be updated and saved prior to 2000 HBT on 26-JAN-15.
2. Results will be posted to activity records no later than 1800 HBT on 27-JAN15
3. The Reserve Status preference will be ignored for pilots who are awarded
Short Call lines. Only date specific RAP preferences for January 27
(XXXX/27) will be processed.
4. Order of processing:
Step 1: Process ballots with date specific RAP preferences for January 27
(XXXX/27) and award in seniority order.
Step 2: Assign RAPs for ballots that were not awarded a RAP in step 1.
5. A RAP request of “PASS” will be ignored.
6. Only date specific RAPs with times that match the posted Monthly Bid
RAPs for the respective 4-part bid status will be considered. The Monthly
Bid RAP table will be made available on AAPilots no later than January
20th.
7. Standing RAPs will be ignored for monthly RAP bidding.
8. RAP preferences with times that do not match the posted Monthly Bid RAP
table for the respective 4-part bid status will be ignored.
9. Sequence preferences will be ignored.
Note: These rules are applicable only for the once-monthly RAP award
process. Standing RAP preferences are considered for daily open time
coverage proffers and procedures. SCR pilots wishing to enter sequence
preferences to be considered in the event there are more Long Call sequences
than qualified, legal and available LCR pilots may submit date-specific
sequence preferences.
Again, posted Monthly Bid RAP time choices will be made available on AAPilots
no later than January 20th.
