Why a Benefit?
For the 3 1/2 years that Dr. Andrea has been at the Bellingham CSL,
she and Rev. Sue MillerBorn have offered a women’s retreat. They
have been offering retreats together for over 20 years! The Institute
and its grounds beautifully complement the retreat with gorgeous
surroundings and nutritious, delicious homegrown food. A
labyrinth and a beautiful meeting space complete the picture. Our
experience at this retreat was rich due to the participants, the
leaders, and the surroundings. Last year, expenses were greater
than receipts so the Women’s Retreat Planning Committee was
formed to raise additional funds to ensure that the retreats can
continue.
