Thousands of party workers from other neighbouring states including Bihar, West Bengal and Odisha would also be participating in the event, he said. morrow in Ranchi Ranchi : Union Minister for Water Resources Uma Bharti would arrive tomorrow in Married woman raped by in Godda Godda : A married woman was allegedly raped inside her house located in Haripur-Chakwa village under Muffasil Police Station area of this district. An FIR in this regard has been lodged today by the victim's husband and other villagers at the Muffasil Police Station. Police sources said that the woman was alone in her house during the evening yesterday as her husband and gone out for work. The victim alleged that the accused Shibu Mandal entered into her house and after finding her alone he raped her. However, when he heard the voices of her children who were calling from outside, he fled from the spot. After, her husband's return the woman narrated her ordeal following which an FIR was lodged. Meanwhile, the accused has been absconding from the spot, police said adding that the woman has been sent for medical examination. the state capital here. Ms Bharti alongwith a team of officials will reach Ranchi from Patna by a helicopter in the evening at around 1700hrs. Officials sources said that Ms Bharti would hold a meeting with Chief Minister Raghubar Das at 1800hrs and would stay in the night in the capital. On the next day she would be holding a meeting with the officials of the state government and in the afternoon would leave for Dhanbad from where she is scheduled to visit Farakka. Sources said that the minister would review the various irrigation programmes of the state and discussion would also take place over the flow of river Ganga in Sahebgunj district of the state. MONDAY NEWS IN BREIF Man arrested alongwith pistol in Godda Godda : Police today arrested a person who was accused of killing another man from Payram village under Lalmatia Police Station area of this district. The arrested has been identified as Madhu Lohar. A 9mm pistol which was used in executing the crime has also been recovered by the police. Police sources today said that Madhu had shot dead Kedar Lohar (45) as he objected Kedar's extra marital affair with his mother. On Friday night the duo consumed alcohol together after which Madhu shot him dead and the the body in Kasgaria forest. The body of the victim was recovered yesterday from the forest. Dog bite kills wild deer in Palamu Daltonganj : A wild dear which had strayed in a Poldih village under Hussainabad Block of the Palamu district died today while being treated in a hospital after he was beaten by a group of stray dogs. Forest Department officials that the male dear was drinking water from a pond located at Poldih village when a group of dogs attacked him. Local villagers later chased the dogs away and informed the forest officials who took the dear to Chattarpur. Chattarpur Ranger Anirudh Kumar Singh said that initially the dear was all right but he later scummed to his injuries. Efforts on to form ATS in Jharkhand: CM Ranchi : Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said efforts were on for establishment of an Anti Terrorist Squad in the state. Addressing a function organised on the completion of the 12th police duty meet at the JAP-1 ground located at Doranda here the Chief Minister said that during the financial year 2015-16 an institution for investigation education would be set up in the state. Mr Das also said that the DC has been directed to provide land for establishment of a police training institute in Musabani. "The security of the common man is priority for the state government," Mr Das said adding that the state government would provide full cooperation to the police to fight the challenges on the front of internal security of the state. He said that soon vacant posts in the police departments would be filled while the Women Battalion would be further strengthened. "Police works among the people to maintain peace, therefore coordination is needed between the police and the common people," Mr Das said adding that better coordination helps in fighting crime and also increases faith on each other. The Chief Minister asked the police officials to work promptly to provide security to the people and cooperate in making Jharkhand crime and maoists free. He said that those disobeying the law will be answered within the legal framework. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also launched the website of the CID and felicitated the winners of various event. Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba and DGP Rajiv Kumar were also present on the occasion.
