To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, a student must satisfy all of the following: q q q q Be a student in their senior year. Have participated in an Athens Orchestra during the current academic year. Planning to attend college/trade school Family member must have joined AOPA prior to March 1st of the current School year. Two scholarships will be awarded each year. The maximum amount of any one scholarship is $500. Scholarships are not guaranteed to all applicants. Scholarships that are awarded will be issued by check payable to the school specified in the application. Checks will not be payable to the student. A student is eligible for one Orchestra Enrichment Scholarship during their years at Athens.
