SECTION III: PERSONAL STATEMENT
Please attach a one page (maximum) personal statement explaining why you would like to do an internship
with the RISEUP program. If particular projects are of special interest, please let us know which one and
include any other information that helps us to understand who you are, where you are coming from, your career
goals, and your projected expectations from this experience.
SECTION IV: QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to a passion for a sustainable environment, we require the following qualifications:
Must be graduating no earlier than August, 2015; must be a US citizen of permanent resident.
Students from all colleges and universities are encouraged to apply; however, at least half the interns will be
selected from applicants from small colleges or other institutions at which undergraduate research
opportunities are relatively limited.
