varsity basketball team suffered a 57-46 loss to visiting
Grand Rapids Thursday.
C-I tallied 22 first half
points but trailed by nine at the
break. The Rangers added 24
second half points in the loss.
Lauren Peterson paced the
Rangers with 12 points and
added eight steals and four
assists. Abby Gindorff and
Cyan Hale each added 11
The
Northern
Lakes season, closed out the regular points in the loss.

Tuesday in Pine River, 36-30.
The Rangers scored 19 frist
half points but trailed by three
at the brek. C-I added 17 second half points but allowed
just eight to take the victory.
Cyan Hale paced the
Rangers with 14 points and
added five rebounds and three
steals.
Lauren
Peterson
chipped in nine points and had
four rebounds.
The Rangers shot 42 percent from the floor and added
nine of 19 at the free throw line
while holding PRB to just 27
percent from the floor and four
of nine at the line.
C-I was outrebounded 3025, but held a slight advantage
in turnovers and benefitted
from the cold shooting of the
Tigers.
The win evened the
Rangers’ record to 8-8 overall
on the season.
