AREA 13 THINKING DAY EVENT SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2015 REGISTRATION CHECK-IN: 9:30am BOOTHS OPEN: 10:00 am -12 or 1pm Louisville Slugger Field • • • • • Troops from Area 13 will have booths featuring countries from the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). Booths have information and activities about the country – a craft, dance, song, story, or food (only Cadette and Sr/Ambassador troops may sell food or drinks). Girls visit the booths, participate in the activities, and learn a lot about Girl Scouting around the World. Each troop attending the event and/or running a booth will have the opportunity to make a contribution to the Juliette Low World Friendship Fund. Troops may register to attend the event with or without hosting a booth. REGISTRATION: Please note that due to the size and cost of the facility adults must also register! • • • • • • • • Entry cost is $3.00 before December 30th/ $5.00 after December 30th (per person). To guarantee your patch/bar order, please register by the deadline. Your patches/bars/passports will be ready the day of the event. Entry may be purchased at the door, but patches/bars are NOT guaranteed. There will be no refunds after December 30th. Registrations will be confirmed via email ONLY. PATCHES: Patch $1.25 each / 2015 repeater bar .75 cents each PASSPORTS: Passports are small books girls have stamped when they visit a booth, .50 cents each BOOTH REGISTRATION: • • • • • • • $5.00 before December 30th / $10.00 after that date. You will get confirmation via email. Commercially precooked food will not be allowed (ex. boxed pizzas from Papa Johns), so take that into consideration when selecting a country.
