KLOPOTEK PRESS RELEASE Berlin, 28 January 2015 Klopotek AG Klopotek AG expands Executive Board As part of the strategic development of the Klopotek Group – international supplier of software and services to publishers – the Executive Board of Klopotek AG will be expanded in 2015. Together with Ulrich Klopotek von Glowczewski, CEO and Chairman, Peter Karwowski, Ernst Lopes Cardozo and Klaus-Peter Stegen will be responsible for providing leadership to Klopotek AG. Peter Karwowski, previously Chief Technology Officer for hgv in Hamburg (Hanseatische Gesellschaft für Verlagsservice mbH), will join Klopotek AG on 1 April 2015 and will become CTO and Head of Klopotek Software & Technology Services. Ernst Lopes Cardozo, in his most recent position Managing Director Klopotek Europe, will become Chief Sales Officer of Klopotek AG and will be responsible for the sales activities of the Klopotek offices in Amsterdam, Paris, London and New York. Klaus-Peter Stegen who joined Klopotek & Partner GmbH in April 2014 as Chairman of the Managing Board, will become Chief Operating Officer D-A-CH. In this position, he will be responsible for the business activities of the Klopotek Group in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Joining Ulrich Klopotek in the same position at a different company, Klaus-Peter Stegen has also been appointed Managing Director of the newly established The Publishers’ Forum GmbH, a spin-off company of Klopotek which is now the organizer of the annual international Publishers’ Forum (next event: 27-28 April 2015). The appointment of these experienced managers in the areas of publishing and technology to the Executive Board of Klopotek AG is an additional step in Klopotek’s strategy of redesigning the well-established Klopotek functionality in the form of webbased applications providing first-class usability on both computers and portables and focusing on the complex and rapidly changing needs of the company’s customers.
