SCHEDULE 8:15-10 a.m. Registration If you’ve registered to take a campus tour before the program begins, you can attend early registration (8:15-8:45 a.m.). 9 a.m. Optional campus tour 9 a.m. Minority Engineering Program information session Learn more about the Minority Engineering Program at go.udayton.edu/mep. 10 a.m. Dean’s welcome: Why Engineering? 2-4 p.m. Second lab and other activities: You’ll spend half of this time at your second assigned lab activity and the other half visiting with University representatives and learning more about our engineering programs with your parents. Choose from the following options: ›› Meet with engineering students and dean’s office staff. ›› Speak with engineering department representatives and visit open labs. ›› Find out more about co-op education experiences with a co-op education representative. 10:25-11:25 a.m. Young engineer presentations by professional engineers and University of Dayton engineering students 11:30-11:45 a.m. ›› Connect with the Minority Engineering Program and representatives. ›› Learn about the Women Engineering Program and meet representatives. Question-and-answer session 11:50 a.m.-12:50 p.m. Lunch break, provided by the School of Engineering 1-2 p.m. Lab and parent information session: You’ll participate in your first assigned lab activity while your parents attend the Why UD Engineering? information session in Kennedy Union ballroom. ›› Ask questions and receive advice from an admission and financial aid representative in Kettering Labs.
