BERRY & FRUIT SELECTION
BLUEBERIES: Cost $8.00 (1 GALLON SIZE)
Blueberries are relatively pest free and require little
care once established. The average family needs 4-6
bushes. As few as two plants can be planted as long as
there are two varieties for good cross-pollination.
Blueberries prefer full sun but can tolerate some

RASPBERRIES
Blackberries and Raspberries are some of the most
popular fruits to grow and they are among the easiest
for the home gardener to successfully produce. Blackberries and raspberries come as erect types (no trellis
required) and trailing types (trellis required), depending on the varieties selected. Publication on “Home

FLOWERING SHRUBS SELECTION
BUTTERFLY BUSH “TUTTI FRUITTI” Cost $10.00 (1 GALLON SIZE)
“Tutti Fruitti” Butterfly Bush Features bright fuchsia-pink
blooms from early summer to frost, and scented foliage, this
plant is great for use in smaller areas of the garden. Will grow

PENNY MAC HYDRANGEA Cost $17.00 (3 GALLON SIZE)
Penny Mac Hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla) This
wildly popular selection requires minimal care, yet provides a prolific display of fantastic mophead flowers repeatedly throughout summer - perfect for the time-pressed
gardener! Blooms tend to be blue in acid soils and pink in more alkaline
soils. Mass for a dramatic effect or combine with perennials and shrubs in

Pistachio Hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla Pistachio) If
you're already a lover of Hydrangeas, this gorgeous variety
is a must-have. If you're new to gardening, you might as
well start with an easy-to-grow shrub with blooms that will

PERRENIAL SELECTION
HUECHERA Cost $8.00 (1 GALLON SIZE)
Heucheras (Coral Bells) are an American genus with
lobed leaves and tiny, bell-shaped flowers on wand like
stems. Determined breeders have turned these perennials
into some of the most attractive foliage plants for
southern gardeners. Heucheras make themselves at home
in moist but well-drained, organic-enriched soils and
attracts hummingbirds but are rarely troubled by deer.

FERNS Cost $8.00 (1 GALLON SIZE)
Autumn Fern (evergreen fern) is a bold and beautiful choice for shady borders and woodland gardens.
A dwarf-growing fern with young papery fronds that
display coppery-red color that matures to a deep
green. Needs wet or constantly moist soils and
spread by underground stems.
Tassel Fern Cost $8.00 (1 GALLON SIZE)
Tassel Fern is a lustrous shiny leaf fern which adds
an elegant look to shaded gardens. Particularly
beautiful when new fronds emerge stiffly, then
droop backwards to form a tassel. Needs wet or constantly moist soils and is
beautiful in masses for groundcover, especially under flowering shrubs.

GUMPO AZALEA Cost $8.00 (1 GALLON SIZE)
Gumpo Azaleas are small varieties of azaleas, and as such are
suitable for garden landscaping. The decorative flowers can
be white or pink. This is just one of the dwarf variety
groups of azalea, and only grows up to 2 feet (about 60 cm.)
A gumpo azalea has many small leaves that are only about
one inch (about 25 mm) long and 1/4 inch (about 6mm)
wide. The plant is evergreen, so it doesn't lose its leaves over
the winter.

GARDENIA FROSTPROOF Cost $8.00 (1 GALLON SIZE)
Gardenia ‘Frostproof won the “2007 Garden Writers Best
Plant Award”. It blooms into velvety white fragrant flowers
in late spring and continues through summer. It typically
grows 3-4 foot tall and prefers full or partial sun. Read

VIBURNUM Cost $8.00 (1 GALLON SIZE)
Viburnums ‘Spring Bouquet’ is a versatile evergreen
shrub that is truly easy to grow. Dark green foliage
offsets the fragrant white blooms in late winter and
spring as well as the metallic blue berries in summer.
Growing in sun to shade, Spring Bouquet is an excellent addition to the mixed shrub border or used as a
