(Visit www.deped.gov.ph.) 39TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION FOR COUNSELOR EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND SUPERVISION (PACERS) The Philippine Association for Counselor Education, Research and Supervision (PACERS) will hold its 39th Annual Conference with the theme Engaging in Meaningful Exchange Through Counseling: Moving Toward International Professional Identity from February 18 to 20, 2015 at the School of Labor and International Relations (SOLAIR), University of the Philippines (UP), Diliman, Quezon City. The Conference aims to: 1. provide the participants with training experiences which will facilitate the development of a multiculturally competent counselor-educator; 2. provide them with the basic knowledge and competencies in the delivery of clinical supervision; 3. teach them the step-by-step procedure on how to write interesting and relevant articles for international publications; and 4. expose them to the most updated and varied counseling services, technologies, approaches and education on how to be a globally competent counselor in the context of the ASEAN Integration. This Conference also provides the following workshops related to the theme: 1. 2. 3. 4. Becoming a Multicultural Competent Counselor Educator; Supervising a Globally Competitive Counselor; Publishing Research Article in an International Journal; and Counseling in a Connected World.
