Directions Hurn Bridge Equestrian Centre is just to the east of Bournemouth Airport on the B3073. The airport is clearly signposted from the A31. From all directions, head to Ringwood on the A31. Take the Bournemouth (A338) road at the interchange west of Ringwood. At the first exit (5 miles) turn onto the B3073 towards Bournemouth Airport. Go straight across the traffic lights, at the mini roundabout take the first exit. The entrance to the equestrian centre is about 150 yards on the right hand side. DO NOT ENTER THE YARD but proceed up the lane where you will find the entrance to the show field on the left. The Fell Pony Society do not accept liability for any loss of property or any accident or damage to any animal, vehicle, spectator or exhibitor, and all the entries are accepted subject to this condition. 1. The judge may ask for ponies to be stripped in ridden classes. 2. Class 12 &13 will be combined if low entries. 2. All ponies must be the bona fide property of a fully paid full or junior (but not associate) member of the Fell Pony Society. 3. Classes 14 & 15 - These classes will start with the Walk & Trot at 12.30pm and will run until 2.30pm. Information on when the first class finishes and the second class starts will be available on the day. It is up to competitors to be available to take part during these times. 3. All ponies must be registered with the Fell Pony Society. 4. Riders must wear a riding hat that complies with the current safety standard. 5. Ponies must not exceed 14hh. Judges are at liberty to request a pony to be measured. JMB certificates will be accepted - pony and certificate must be presented to the judge. 6. Exhibitors should not enter classes judged by their pony's breeder or family. 7. Ponies need not be vaccinated against Equine Flu, but any pony showing signs of coughing, or any virus complaint, will be asked to leave the show field 8. Entries close 27th April 2015 – STRICTLY NO LATE ENTRIES. No entries on the day except for class 6 and Handy Pony. Nominations accepted for classes 6 (Pairs) but must pay the required entry fee for both ponies on the day. 9. Ponies may only be entered once in any class 10. Entry fee £5 per class. Entries on the day for pairs class £5 per pair, £3 for Handy Pony. 11. Entry fees will not be refunded. 12. Complaints - to be made in writing with a fee of £20 (will be refunded if complaint upheld). 13. Competitors must wear their correct number while in the rings. 14. FPS membership number MUST be stated on entry form. 4. Handy Pony Classes. There will be, in a separate area, a Handy Pony course. You may enter on the day - In Hand or Ridden. Entry fee £3 per entry. Please hand your entry to the show secretary if entering on the day. The course will be available from 12md to 2pm. It is your responsibility to ensure that you take part during this time. There will be a number of tasks to complete which will be scored out of 10. It will not be timed, but obviously marks are lost for hesitation. Highest score wins.
