MULTI-CULTURAL LUNCH
Last Wednesday we had our multi-cultural lunch for the month, which residents chose to be
Australia. 15 residents enjoyed meat pies and chips followed by pavlova which was decorated by
the cooking group with cream, passion fruit and strawberries, and for drinks we had beer,
shandies and lemonade. We talked about what it meant to be Australian and how lucky we were
to live in such a beautiful free country.
IPAD LESSONS
Bessie had a visit from Danni from the Mount
Gambier library on Tuesday. Danni was
teaching Bessie how use one of the library’s
I-pads to read books that had been
downloaded. Bessie was feeling a little bit
over whelmed at the beginning but Danni
soon built up her confidence so that she was
able to open a book and turn the pages by
herself in no time.
