Mark your Calendar for the WWA Silent Auction!
Support the work of WWA by bidding on and taking home your winnings. Silent
Auction items will be available for bidding on Tuesday, June 24, 12:00pm - 5:00pm and
Wednesday, June 25 8:00am - 12 noon. Proceeds from the auction will be used for
upcoming educational opportunities for all Wisconsin WIC Staff.
Wisconsin WIC Association (WWA) Sponsored Breakfast and Annual
Membership Meeting:
The WWA Annual Membership Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 7:00am 8:00am in conjunction with a plated breakfast. The WWA board members will give
updates on committees and review activities of the current 3-year Strategic Plan. There
were six representatives from Wisconsin that attended the March 2014 Annual
Leadership Conference in Washington D.C.
All WWA members and those interested in becoming members are welcome to the
meeting (breakfast is available regardless of whether or not you are a WWA member).

Now Seeking At-Large Representatives!
This spring the WWA has three At-Large Representatives reaching the end of their 2year term: Sarah Miller, Barb Sheldon, and Mary Beth Emmer.
The WWA is currently accepting nominees until June1, 2014. Please view the At Large
Representative information here: ..\At Large Membership Form.docx!
Nominations can be submitted to Jenni Loging ([email protected]). Voting by
WWA Members will take place shortly after all nominees have been identified.
The At Large Representative is a two-year commitment. This position involves being
active on the WWA board, including monthly teleconferences and two face-to-face
meetings annually (held in Westfield, WI).
Congratulations to the Northern Region
WWA is happy to announce that the Northern Region had the highest percentage of
project membership (due by March 31, 2014). The Northern Region, with 89%
membership, is being awarded with the incentive prize of $100.

 Although Washington DC closed down on Monday March 3rd, the advocates
representing Wisconsin WIC were able to reschedule appointments with legislators
for Tuesday March 4th, and had the opportunity to educate and inform about the as
