Eight stunning homes in popular East Horsley Village
COBHAM WAY
STATION APPROACH
Since 1086 when East Horsley was listed in the Domesday Book as
having two manors held by the Archbishop of Canterbury, this tranquil
village in the Surrey Downs has been a desirable place to live.
East Horsley is an affluent and desirable Surrey commuter village, conveniently located between
the towns of Guildford and Leatherhead. There are excellent transport links close by, the A3 and
M25 are a few minutes away, London Waterloo is just a 44 minute commute and Heathrow and
Gatwick airports are only 20 miles away. This leafy, peaceful village simply seems a world away
which makes it the perfect location to unwind and enjoy life.
Quiet, however, does not mean sleepy! In East Horsley village centre there are shops and several
locally-owned restaurants and pubs. There is also the popular family-orientated Horsley Sports
Club which draws the majority of its membership from the local neighbourhood. The National
Lottery and Arts Council England funded Nomad Theatre is home to a wonderfully equipped
amateur dramatics society, and the De Vere Horsley Park set within 70 acres of stunning parkland,
has leisure facilities including a health and fitness club with gym, sauna and indoor swimming
pool just outside the village.
If you are looking for a change of speed at the end of the day or
for a home in a community where you can relax, then East Horsley
is that place.
