A landmark in its day was the release of the first St Agnes Brandy which today is believed to have the distinction of being Australia’s longest living spirits brand. SOLD SOLD Roger Wya & Project Development Manager, Mar n Goodchild SOLD SOLD SOLD Roger Wyatt worked at the St Agnes Winery with the Angove family for over 40 years and has continued to work with Rossdale Homes during the purchase of the site and its maintenance over the past few years. Roger has been a valuable source of information and historian for the site. He was on hand whilst the warehouse, contained within Stage 1 was being demolished. ‘I have mixed emotions about seeing the place I called my second home for over 40 years being transformed but I am grateful that Rossdale Homes have been sympathetic to the site with their planning and design together with Tea Tree Gully Council’s DAP committee endorsing and promoting the concept enthusiastically. I am now considering purchasing one of the new homes within the Estate, it just feels right’. SOLD The final vintage at St Agnes Winery, Tea Tree Gully was produced in 1982. The old cellars were renovated in 1983 to cater for tourists and to house the company cellar door. Today the heritage listed white tower & buildings remains as a piece of iconic history and will be retained for its local community value as the last of the original wineries in the Tea Tree Gully area.
