PhD scholarships for international students
The Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1015 ‘Otiose Leisure.
Concepts, Spaces, Figures’ at the University of Freiburg is offering
two PhD scholarships
starting on
1st April 2015
The scholarship is €1200 per month with an additional grant of €103 for
material costs. The CRC 1015 is funded by the National Research
Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft) with scholars working
in the fields of philosophy, sociology, psychosomatic medicine, literary
studies (English, German, French, Russian), classics, art history, and
social anthropology. The scholarships offer the opportunity to pursue a
PhD project up to six months within the thematic framework of the CRC.
The scholarships are intended for PhD students from universities outside
of Germany. Scholarship holders are expected to participate in the
activities of the CRC and its Integrated Research Training Group.
The language of communication within the CRC is German. Further
information on the research programme of the CRC and its Integrated
