This year’s event is organized and sponsored by the Northern Kentucky East Chapter of Thrivent Financial. The event is open to people from throughout the community who are willing to walk to raise funds for food pantries such as United Ministries in Erlanger. Walkers of all ages can participate. The course is a flat, paved walkway and it should be cool and comfortable on this September morning. Walkers will be seeking donations from sponsors during the weeks before the event. Donations will be matched by Thrivent “Care Abounds in Communities” funds up to $1,500. Mark the date on your calendar.
