Kids Choirs
Love to sing? We have
a place for you! Join the Kids Choir!
Practice starts Sunday September 14
Kings Kids choir is for 1st-5th grade and
meets 4-4:45 p.m. in the choir room.
Little Lambs are for 3 year olds to Kindergarten and meets 4-4:30 p.m. in the children's chapel.
Come to Funtastic Friday on Sept 12!
Funtastic Friday is Sept 12 from 6:30pm
to 8:30pm in the
Sanctuary. We welcome as many 1st–
5th graders as we
can get in one place, at one time, to come
play games, eat pizza and have fun!
Friends are welcome! Everyone needs to
wear athletic shoes suitable for running and playing. Please bring $3.00 for
dinner.

about each class offering for WNL and

night! Everyone is asked to bring one of
the following: salad, bread, or dessert. Pizza will be provided. Make sure
to sign up in the back of the Sanctuary if
you plan to attend to ensure we have
enough food!

Next Meal at Grace
Dinner at Grace - everyone is back in
school and time to start planning the our
next meal to serve at Grace mission in
Covington for Sunday, September
14th. We are in need of people to help
out with desserts. You will find pans
and recipes for a simple no bake Eclair
cake in the Gathering Place. Please
sign the list so we know who is participating. Also if anyone would be willing
to purchase a ham please let Mary
Anne Tenfelde know at 817-9178 or

Note: We will be preparing the meal in
the church kitchen Saturday, Sept. 13th
from 10am until 2pm. If you can help

Merry Makers
Thrivent NKY Pantry Walk
The Second Annual Northern Kentucky
Pantry Walk, a 5K walk event will be
held from 9 – 11 am on Saturday, September 27 at Covington’s Pioneer Park
off KY 17. This year’s event is organized and sponsored by the Northern
Kentucky East Chapter of Thrivent Financial. The event is open to people
from throughout the community who are
willing to walk to raise funds for food
pantries such as United Ministries in
Erlanger.
Walkers of all ages can participate. The
course is a flat, paved walkway and it
should be cool and comfortable on this
September morning. Walkers will be
seeking donations from sponsors during
the weeks before the event. Donations
will be matched by Thrivent “Care
Abounds in Communities” funds up to
$1,500. Mark the date on your calendar. If you have any questions, please

Merry Makers will have their monthly
pot luck dinner on Monday, September
8 at 6:00 p.m. Members of the Youth
Group will tell us about their recent

the church. We would like to invite all
the ladies of the church who are currently looking for a Women's Circle to
