Your Innovation Day is an event of the project “CITEK” financed by the MED Programme
dedicated to the emergence of innovation ideas and projects. This event will be held on
September 19th in Lyon, France.
The event focuses on two subjects: innovation & entrepreneurship. It will be an opportunity to
gather the project’s partners and KIC members, in addition to public actors, enterprises and all
sorts of organisms that work to develop innovation in its different forms and allow them to meet
and exchange ideas.
During the event, different activities will take place focused on the main topics of the project:
Open Data,
Creative Industry,
Techtourism,
Smart home and active aging,
Energy efficiency and renewable energy,
Financing tools for social innovation.
This will allow the participants to discuss, compare, exchange and get inspired.

Two dimensions:
Other ways to innovate : many different forms of innovation, not only scientific and technological
innovation, but new forms, for example: social innovation, innovation by the use.
Other ways to undertake : new schemes, new ways for economic development, not only
shareholding…but, for example: crowdfunding.

Innovation Community” will present the results of CITEK project and
will organize a public workshop to encourage innovation between
participants.

By plane:
Lyon’s Airport: Lyon St Exupery. The only way
to go to the city from the airport is to take the
tram Rhônexpress, the tickets are available for
purchase inside the tram. You need to get
off at the train station Lyon Part Dieu (on the
other side if the train station) and then take
the tram T1 direction Debourg (stop Sainte
Blandine).
By train
There are two main train stations: Lyon Part
Dieu and Lyon Perrache. From Lyon Perrache
it is possible to walk (less than 10 mins) and
from Lyon Part Dieu it is necessary to take the
tram T1 direction Debourg and get off at the
stop Sainte Blandine.
