It is rather small but good hotel. Second option is near by hotel Panorama. It's at about 20min. walking distance from our faculty. You will get a discount at Chill-out hostel if you mention that you are visitor of the University College Algebra. Unfortunately, we don't have any discount arrangements with hotels at the moment. ZET is public transportation company. One way ticket costs about 10HRK (1,3Eur). You can switch form bus to tram and vice versa with the same ticket. Ask for a bus station to the center of Zagreb. Here's the map from the airport to the bus station (about 16 min. walking distance): Take the bus to Glavni kolodvor (or Gl. Kolodvor) – the main train station. Just make sure the bus has „Gl. kolodvor“ or „Glavni kolodvor“ mark. At Glavni kolodvor enter the tunnel (the underpass) and take the first steps on the right side. It will take you to the tram station. Cross the street (the tram rails actually), take the tram number 9 and go to Trešnjevački trg station. It's only 3 stops before the last one so if you miss the station, it's easy to get back. When you get to Trešnjevački trg tram station, walk through Trakošćanska street for about 8 min. The Panorama hotel is on the left side of the street, about 8 min. walking distance from the tram station.Here's the map from the train station at Ilica street to the Panorama hotel: - Entrance to the Panorama hotel: From the airport to the Croatia hotel - If you travel form the airport to this hotel by public transportation, at Glavni kolodvor take the tram number 6 or 2 and get down at Austrijska street (Republike Austrije street) and walk through Vinogradska until you reach the hotel.
