While living in Cuba, I worked as a broadcaster in Radio Havana City for more that 10
years. In this position, I created many programs, including interviews, reports, articles,
columns. In addition, I was also a jury member in a Cuban National Radio Journalist
Festival. I also served as editor in chief for radio news programming.
In Finland, I have collaborated since 1992 in the Spanish-language radio program “Este
continente” that brings important information about Latin America to the Finnish public.
I have also collaborated with EDITA (Finnish Publisher) in the creation of a book about
Business Spanish Claves del éxito: Liike-elämän espanjaa during the years 2001- 2002
and the other called Liikeviestinnän käsikirja – viestit vaihtoon 7 kielellä, Edita Prima Oy,
Helsinki 2006.
I have contributed articles to the magazine of the Finnish-Cuba Association “Cuba Sí”
on a variety of issues affecting Finland and Cuba.
I have also translated from Finnish into Spanish various Finnish films, including Jarmo
Lampela’s “Eila” and “The River”, as well as Mika Lehtinen’s “Number: Live from 0 to 10
As an actor in Carlos Marroquin’s (The MUNDO student) project: “When we have some
to tell” (2006).
As sound technician, in the short film “Brave face” produced as a class exercise in
Jenny Linko’s Documentary Production course.
