Objectives.
It's impressive the world development of the Photovoltaic Energy already
exceeds 150,000 MW installed. Earlier this year, the 33 countries of Latin
America and the Caribbean had only about 200 MW installed, but began a
takeoff in several countries in the region that is still modest. The main
objective of the workshop is contribute in a synergy that could happen with
the participation of countries of the region in consequent reduction of the
“installation” costs of kWp and kWh in parity with other non-renewable
energy sources, considering the high index of solar radiation on which it
counts the region.
 Cuban Higher Education Ministry.


The increasing levels of photovoltaic penetration in the electricity grid.

Cost of Photovoltaic Energy: KWh vs. kWh with fossil fuel, kWp and
installation, the total costs of photovoltaic applications (industrial power
generation, agricultural, commercial and residential) photovoltaics
systems.
