Parents Guild Meeting
Zion’s Parents Guild will meet on
Monday, October 20, at 7:00pm.
All parents are invited to join us as
we report on and discuss current
finances, current and future
fundraisers, the role of Parents
Guild at Zion, and a possible name
change. We will also have an open
forum and welcome input from
Zion families. In order to continue
raising funds for Zion we need your
insight, energy, and support!
Consider joining us for a very
informative, interesting hour on
Monday night in the Commons.
Magazine Sale
The magazine sale has been
extended through Monday, October
20. Please complete all orders by
that time.
General News
School Pictures
Preschool pictures and picture
retakes will be on Tuesday, October
22. If you would like picture
retakes, have your child return the
pictures from the first picture day
and you will be able to get retakes.
The photographer will give you the
same package you ordered on the
initial picture day.
Student Council Bonfire
Student Council will sponsor a
bonfire on Friday, October 31, from
3:30-7:00pm, for students in 7th12th grades. This event will include
a chili cookoff (prizes included). If
your family would like to provide
chili, please contact Emily Koning.
More details will be available next
week.
Please Label Your Clothing
Parents, please write your child’s
name on his or her coats,
snowpants, hats, etc. Last winter
many, many articles turned up in
lost and found and were never
claimed. Please help us avoid that
this year!
Sports Passes
Support your Zion Mountaineers
this basketball season!
Purchase a student T-shirt Pass
now through October 31. These
shirts will get students into all
home games for free. In addition,
basketball season passes are
available for families, couples, or
individuals. Please see the
attached order forms for details.
These are great ideas for Christmas
gifts for your kids or grandparents!
Thank you for supporting Zion
athletics.
