PIXEL
The Nordgröna Pixel is a high-class sound absorber made from natural,
hand-picked Scandinavian Reindeer Moss contained in felt cubes. The
Pixel element is designed to cover large surface areas with maximum
flexibility in shape and design.
Each Pixel element retains its colors, is fire-proof, absorbs & releases
humidity to remain soft, and is completely maintenance-free. Like all our
Reindeer Moss products, Nordgröna Pixels are handmade, natural and
made in Sweden.
Pixels are delivered in sets of 36 (which covers an area of 30 x 30 cm). A
single m2 requires 400 Pixels. Each Pixel is supplied with a pre-attached
fastener for easy & quick mounting.

In collaboration with Lund University’s faculty of Engineering
(LTH), Nordgröna has developed a highly effective sound absorber,
absorbing up to twice as much as the industry average for products
of same size and thickness.
Our Story
Nordgröna was started in 2013 at Lund University. Two twin brothers,
Joris & Sander Oudendijk, and Oscar Pressfeldt together set out to create
an innovative new product.
Together with Lund University, the founders developed a product made
from organic Scandinavian Reindeer Moss. The product utilized the
inherent qualities of Reindeer Moss to filtrate air, absorb soundwaves, and
look naturally aesthetic - all while remaining easy to use and completely
maintenance-free.
