As we approach the mid-way point of term three, I
would like to compliment our students on their
focus and commitment to learning that I observe when in
the classrooms. Our production has obviously been a big
focus for a large number of our students and I commend
them for the hard work they have put into make the show a
success.

USICAL PRODUCTION “MOVE IT”
Congratulations to all the cast of “Move It” for
their wonderful performances over the last two
days. It has been wonderful to see their development over
the last four weeks. A huge thank you to all the staff for
their efforts in ensuring the success of the show. I would
particularly like to thank Philippa Drake, Julie Leigh and
Fiona Scott for the effort, direction and expertise they gave
in organising the production and making it such a success.
PEN DAYS & EVENING AT
WAIRAU INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL
On Wednesday 27 August and Thursday 28 August dur ing school hour s we will be holding Open Days
for Year 6 children and their parents. An Open Evening
will also be held on Thursday 28 August from 7.00pm 8.30pm. We look for war d to showcasing our wonderful
school and the many opportunities we offer. Enrolments
for 2015 are now being accepted during school hours. We
also have an enrolment week from Monday 1 September
through to Friday 5 September during school hours and
until 7.00pm on Thursday 4 September.

The North Harbour Intermediate Schools’ Cross
Country was held on Tuesday at Onepoto Domain.
Once again this event was organised by Emma Hegan and I
thank her for all her hard work on behalf of our school.

CHOOL DONATION
Many thanks to those families that have already paid the
school donation. Many schools charge fees for ICT, Technology classes, and other activities. We have resisted this trend,
but do rely on the donation to help fund the many extra things we
offer. Donations are $150.00 per child or $250.00 per family, payable at the school office or via internet banking. If paying by internet banking, please enter “your child’s name, donation”. A receipt
will be sent home with your child. Our school bank account is:
