Shota MIYAKE による展覧会:「夜のアメリカ」 Night in the USA by SHOTA MIYAKE By Shota MIYAKE ◆展覧会の概要・テーマ紹介等◆ 私が生まれる前から、日本は「アメリカ」の影響を色濃く受けてきました。 地理的には遠くにありますが、私たち日本人の身近に「アメリカ」はずっとあ り続けています。この展示は、人からの噂やメディアからの情報等、間接的に 見聞きしてしか知らなかった「アメリカ」という国を初めて訪れ、ロサンゼル スからニューヨークまでを横断した際に撮った写真をまとめたものです。大自 然から大都会まで様々な生のアメリカ合衆国の今を、夜にスポットライトをあ て、じっくり観察し、寄り添って撮ったものを展示致します。 Exhibition Summary “America” has been a major influence on Japan since before I was born. Although the physical distance between the two countries is great, “America” has always felt close to the Japanese people. I visited the “America” which I had only heard of through media and people’s stories and traveled through it from Los Angeles to New York.
