Respected Deans,
Respected Professors,
Fellow Students,
Distinguish Faculty stuffs,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Good Morning, As-Salamualai-Kum (Bengali), Ohiyo-Guzaimus
It’s an honor, great honor and immense pleasure to represent a speech on behalf of new students of The United
Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Ehime University, in opening ceremony, today, for foreign students.
Really I am very grateful to get this opportunity.
It’s a memorable day and also incredible to be here in under one roof throughout different countries students
together.
I am from Bangladesh. The country is beauty of nature with distinguish six seasons. Hence, Bangladesh has longest
sea beach and largest Mangrove Forest in all over the world. Interestingly, the flag of Bangladesh and Japan is
almost similar color, only difference between green and white part. Bangladesh is also school of love, celebration
and mysterious Sufi Folk song.
So, Well come to all in Bangladesh.
I think we are very lucky to get this chance in richest cultural and historical country, Japan. Japan is the most
wonderful country with spectacular atmosphere and harmony of local wisdom. Morality and punctuality are also
very strong. Moreover, honesty of Japanese people has made a top level in all sectors over the world. It’s also
peaceful country with symphony of traditional culture and hyper-modernity, and advanced technology. It’s really
imagining scope for learning this.
We would like to send special thanks to the Japan Government, the university authorities, prospective professor and
supervisor for choosing and selecting us as fellows. Deepest love and gratitude to supervisor, without his kind
cooperation it could not be possible. With their professional support and expertise would make a bridge not only for
new research and science, but also fulfill our thrust mind of question in agricultural sciences and technology. They
would act as the sage for bring us a new decade of science and also meet us with great researcher in this sector.
Finally, we will really humble to learn not only scientific research but also social manners. Furthermore, honesty,
patient and hard work will help us for fulfilling our duties and responsibilities. We will also commit to do our best
effort to use this great chance not only for enhancing our knowledge, but also for our country development.
So, today, as we would prepare to move toward the future, it is pertinent that we would hold fast to our support
networks—those who have encouraged and grounded us throughout the years.

，アッサラームアライクム（ベンガル語），おはようございます。
愛媛大学大学院連合農学研究科の新入生を代表しての挨拶は大変嬉しく思います。
様々な国からの学生たちと同じ屋根の下で，大変思い出に残る一日であり，信じられない気持ちで
す。
私はバングラデシュから来ました。バングラデシュには，6 つ季節があり，自然の美しい国です。
また，世界で最も長い海岸と広大なマングローブ林があります。興味深いことに，バングラデシュ
と日本の国旗は，緑と白の色が違うだけでとてもよく似ています。バングラデシュもまた，学びと
神秘的なスーフィー民謡を愛する国です。
ぜひ，バングラデシュへお越しください。
日本という豊かな文化と歴史的な国で，このような機会を得ることができて，私はとても幸運に感
じています。日本は，壮大な環境と独自の叡智とがうまく融合した最も素晴らしい国です。道徳と
時間厳守を重んじ，日本人の正直さは世界のトップレベルに達しています。また，伝統文化と高レ
ベルの近代文化，そして先進技術とが合わさった平和な国でもあります。想像を絶する規模の学び
が日本にはあります。
私たち入学生は，このような機会を授けてくださった日本政府，大学機関，主指導教員やその他の
先生方にとても感謝しています。先生方への深い感謝の念でいっぱいです。もし，親身なご支援を
得られなかったならば，不可能だったと思います。先生方の専門性の高いご支援と知識が，農学分
野における熱い探究心を満たし，新たな研究と科学への架け橋となり，私たちに新たな科学の時代
をもたらし，ここで偉大な研究者と出会う思慮深さをもたらしてくれるのではないでしょうか。
最後に，私たち入学生一同は，謙虚に，研究活動だけでなく社会的マナーにも留意し，そして正直
に忍耐強く懸命に努力することで，任務と責任を果たします。また，私たちはこの素晴らしいチャ
ンスを活かすために，個々の知識向上のためだけでなく，母国の発展のためにも最善の努力を捧げ
ます。
今日，私たちは，未来への一歩を踏み出し，年月をかけて私たちを励まし導いてくれる指導教員の
方々のご支援の下，地に足をつけて一歩一歩，確実なネットワークを築きながら進んでいきたいと
思います。
