Tasks
Technology development of next generation IGBTs and
Diodes compatible to 200mm wafer manufacturing platform:
- Development of novel buffer and anode concepts for 200mm
devices
- Development of IGBT cell and termination designs fulfilling
the most advanced application requirements
- Coordination and evaluation of process experiments
- Design the process sequence for manufacturability
- Responsibility for electrical and reliability performance
- Project management
Your role as technical expert and project leader will also
include:
- Working in an interdisciplinary team with colleagues from
process development, product and quality engineering units
- Handling internal and external publications of project results
and novel concepts
- Promoting newly developed products in conferences and
fairs, close interaction with suppliers, customers, competitors,

and research institutions
- Close collaboration with the Product Management team
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics plus PhD or
equivalent professional experience in semiconductor device
related fields
- Deep understanding of power semiconductor physics
- Many years experience in semiconductor process
technology and wafer fabrication
- Solid competence in high voltage devices, termination
techniques and their interaction with device environment
- Experience in the use of semiconductor simulators (process
and device)
- Hands on experience with laboratory equipment for
characterization of semiconductors and their applications
- Very good knowledge of English, good German would be a
plus
- High curiosity and broad technical interest
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and
interpersonal skills. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze
complex problems.
- Self-motivated and self-directed individual with team
oriented work attitude
