Signed by the New York Mets at the 25th round in the 2002 draft, he has played 6 Minor Leagues seasons (AAA – AA, 533 games) in the New York Mets farm system. He is actually VP and International Director for USSSA. Michael Tucker – Hitting Coach Born in South Boston, Virginia, June 25 1971, a Longwood University graduated (Hall of Fame). Signed by the Kansas City Royals at the 1th round (10th pick) in the 1992 draft. He has played 12 MLB seasons (1417 games) with the Kansas City Royals, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Mets and Boston Red Sox. He was part of the USA National Team at the Olympic Games in Barcelona 1992. USSSA Camp 2015 – American Staff Lou Collier – Infield Coach Born in Chicago, Illinois, August 21 1973. Signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates at the 31st round in the 1992 draft from Vocational High School (Chicago). He has played 8 MLB seasons (315 games) with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Milwaukee Brewers, Montreal Expos, Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies. Before retirement, he has spent two seasons in the Korean Professional League. Actually he works in his “Lou Collier Baseball Association”, dedicated to the entire development of the youth. Lenny Di Nardo – Pitching and Catching Coach Born in Miami, Florida, September 19 1979, a Stetson University graduated. Signed by the New York Mets at the 3rd round in the 2001 draft. He has played 6 MLB seasons (94 games pitched and 10 games won) with the Boston Red Sox, Oakland A’S and Kansas City Royals. He has represented Italy in 2006 and 2009 World Baseball Classic. Schumacher USSSA Camp 2015 – Daily Program Day Program : • Stretching and Active Warm-up: 9:00 am – 9:30 am • Base running: 9:40 am – 10:15 am • Position Defense: 10:20 am – 12:30 pm - 10:20 – 11:35: Players broken down into by age and position (infield/outfield/catcher/pitcher) and will begin their throwing program accordingly. - 11:40 – 12:30 pm: Players stay in their defensive positions in order to go through a series of drills.
