1. 18. Jahres- und Verkaufsaustellung
Dauer: 18. Oktober 2015 - 31. Januar 2016
Noch bis zum 31. Januar 2016 können Sie unsere 18. Jahres- und Verkaufsausstellung besuchen und Bilder und Objekte
erwerben. Stets auf der Suche nach neuen talentierten Künstler, haben wir es uns in diesem Jahr zur Aufgabe gemacht den
Kreis der teilnehmenden Künstler durch eine Ausschreibung, mit dem Schwerpunkt auf das Land NRW, zu erweitern, um
Outsider Künstlern eine Ausstellungs- und Verkaufsmöglichkeit für ihre Werke zu bieten. Zu sehen sind ca. 300 Arbeiten von
Gastkünstlern und Künstlern des Hauses. Die Ausstellung wird durch eine Atkion bereichert. Die Besucher erwartet eine
abwechslungsreiche und faszinierende Ausstellung mit alten Bekannten und neuen Talenten. Die Bilder und Objekte der
Künstler sind käuflich zu erwerben.
2. Gefangene Geheimnisse. Kunst im sozialen Kontext
Dauer: 14. Februar - 1.Mai 2016
Eröffnung: Sonntag 14. Februar, 15 Uhr
Künstlerin Cony Theis
Gespräch mit der Künstlerin Cony Theis und der Kunstkritikerin Karin Thomas. Die künstlerischen Arbeiten von Cony Theis
entstanden im sozialen Kontext und markieren damit Grenzen und Berührungspunkte zugleich. Ihr partizipatorischer Ansatz
und die daraus entstehenden Kunstwerke der Projektephasen werden im Kunsthaus Kannen gezeigt. Das Langzeitprojekt
„Gefangene Geheimnisse“ wurde in vier forensischen Psychiatrien in NRW als dialogischer Prozess mit Patienten durchgeführt.
Im Juli 2015 fand das Kunstprojekt „paar/ unpaar“ in der Christophorus Klinik auf dem Alexianer- Areal in Münster statt.
1. 18th yearly sales exhibition
Period: 18th October – 31th January 2016
Only up to the 31th January you can visit the 18th yearly sales exhibition. Works of art are presented by the artists
from the Kunsthaus studio by their own and external artists, not forgetting talented artists from the younger
generation. The artists had responded to a regional call for applications for the exhibition. The paintings and
objects on display are for sale. The sales revenue is divided in 70 % for the Artist and 30% for Kunsthaus Kannen.
All artists with a psychical disorder or mental illness who are created their own Œuvre over the years are free to
apply for the exhibition.
2. Gefangene Geheimnisse. Kunst im sozialen Kontext

Artist: Cony Theis
Cony Theis’ artworks are created in social context and mark therefore borders and points of contact at the same time. Her
participatory approach and the resulting artworks of the project phases are presented at the Kunsthaus Kannen. The long-term
project “Gefangene Geheimnisse” (captured secrets), initiated by the Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR), was operated in
four forensic psychiatric clinics in North Rhine-Westphalia as a dialogical process with patients. In July 2015, the project
“paar/unpaar” took place in the Christophorus clinic (Alexianer Münster).
