Transcript + vocab. for pronounciation exercise no. 1: “ch”, “sch”, “st” and “sp” With this pronounciation exercise you can practice to differenciate and to pronounce the two unlike ways of saying the German „ch“ ( [ x ] and [ ç ] ). You will also learn to switch between the „ch“-sounds and the „sch“-sounds („sch“[ ʃ ], „st“ [ ʃt ], „sp“ [ ʃp ]). Hearing the following little passage, you will notice, that all these different sounds can occur very close together. In the end of this exercise I will speak this text again, but more slowly, section by section and leaving pauses, so that you can repeat. Welche Sprachen sprechen Sie, Laura?
