お元気で毎日をお送りのこととお喜び申し上げます。
さて、早速でございますが、来る 2 月 13 日（金）に「世界のジャポニカ米と日本産米の
競争力」というテーマで国際学術調査研究の報告会を開催いたします。
・日本のコメは国際競争力がどれくらいあるのか？
生産コストと品質から診る競争力は？
・世界のジャポニカ米の生産と流通は？
・米国の 2014 年農業法は米国の稲作をどう変化させるのか？
・急成長を遂げるインドのコメ輸出の今後の動きは？
・コメ輸入を「関税化」に変更した韓国のコメ市場は？
・近年の国際コメ価格と需給の動きは？
などについて、これまでの調査研究で得られた新しい情報を中間報告として皆様と共有さ
せていただきたいと思います。
日本の研究者に加え、世界的に著名なコメ研究者である米国・アーカンソー大学の E.ウ
ェイルス教授、インド政府の A. グラティ博士、韓国高麗大学の D. B. Han 教授を招き、講
演をいただきます。

夜の講演会では昼間の報告のサマライズと Hot Issues として宮崎県や大学から新たな情
報提供を頂き、軽食をとりながらの気軽な交流も予定しております。
ご都合がつきますならば、是非、会場にお越しくださいませ。
なお、当日は午前 9 時半からの長丁場となっておりますが、部分参加も歓迎です。
