Nicely balanced with an upfront minerality. The Semillon gives the wine more broadness. Very well made. This Merlot opens with aromas of fresh cranberry, black pepper and rosehip. Tropical notes of guava, passion fruit and lychee, as well as hints of herbs and lemon zest. Aromas of black cherry, plum, and dried red cherry with notes of sweet oak and mocha. This wine has an inviting bouquet of mango, kiwi, and pineapple with citrus and green apple on the palate. Perfect as an aperitif. Dark peppery aromas with a velvety body. Robust flavors of currant, black raspberry, anise and ripe plum linger on the palate.
