The graduate symposium will take place on the Hönngerberg campus, located on the outskirts of the city.

For getting around in Zürich we strongly recommend using public transportation. If you are spending the
whole day in Zurich, it is worth buying a day pass (valid for 24 hours). With this ticket you can use all trains,
trams, buses and even boats (although when youʼre on a boat you probably did something wrong). To get to
the campus:
From Zurich Airport (approx. 20 minutes, ticket valid for 3 zones)
• Take the S-Bahn Line 2 (towards Ziegelbrücke) or Line 16 (towards Meilen) as far as Oerlikon station
• From Oerlikon Nord station take bus no. 80 (towards Triemlispital) as far as the “ETH Hönggerberg” stop
From the train station (approx. 25 minutes, ticket for zone 110)
• Take Tram no. 11 (towards Auzelg) as far as “Bucheggplatz”
• From there, take bus no. 69 (towards ETH Hönggerberg) as far as the terminus “ETH Hönggerberg”

Arrival Information - continued
• Take Tram no. 14 (towards Seebach) as far as “Milchbuck”
• From there, take bus no. 69 (towards ETH Hönggerberg) as far as the terminus “ETH Hönggerberg”
• Take the S-Bahn (Lines 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 14, 16) to Oerlikon station
• From Oerlikon Nord station take bus no. 80 (towards Triemlispital) as far as the “ETH Hönggerberg” stop

We will start at 8:30 and close at around 17:00. Lunch will be provided.

ESR Anniversary Meeting (1.4.2016)
The ESR Anniversary Meeting will take place at ETH Main Building in room HG F 30 (Audi Max)

From Zurich Airport (approx. 25 - 30 minutes, ticket valid for 3 zones)
• Train service from Zurich International Airport to main station “Zürich HB”.
• From the main station please either take Tram 10 (Direction "Oerlikon" or "Zürich Flughafen, Fracht") or 6
(Direction "Zoo") to “ETH Zentrum/Universitätsspital” (3 stops).
• Tram line 10 (Direction "Bahnhofstrasse/HB") directly connects the airport and the conference venue (Tram
stop "ETH Zentrum/Universitätsspital").
Taxi from/to the airport to ETH is about CHF 60. We highly recommend not to rent a car at the airport since
there is literally no parking space available near ETH Zurich.
From the train station (approx. 5- 10 minutes, short distance ticket)
• From the main station please either take Tram 10 (Direction "Oerlikon" or "Zürich Flughafen, Fracht") or 6
(Direction "Zoo") to “ETH Zentrum/Universitätsspital” (3 stops).
Arriving by car
In Zurich are only very limited and expensive parking are available. Please contact your hotel if there is possibility for parking. If you arrive by car, we kindly request that you leave the car at the hotel and use public
transport or to walk to the confernce venue.
