COME JOIN US TO PLAY CHESS!
EVERY CHESS MASTER WAS ONCE A BEGINNER
All kids can benefit from chess. Research has shown that chess enhances scholastic abilities including
test scores. Think of it as “exercise for
the mind”, a fun way to practice
concentration, patience,
logic and mental calculations, that promote
international life long
learning for youth. Tokyo
Bilingual Chess Club,
founded in 2013, serves
as a place where members of all skill levels can
congregate and enjoy
the royal game of chess.
The primary goal is to provide every child in
Japan the opportunity to learn and play
chess in an English speaking environment.
We provide a variety of services to schools
and individuals around Tokyo as weekly
unrated play, special
events, lectures, classes,
and tournaments. We are
constantly making efforts
to create partnerships
with local and national
educational programs to
further the expansion of
chess in the central Tokyo
area. Let’s get chess in
more schools!
