PETRONAS TEAM TOM’S drivers Andre Lotterer and Kazuki Nakajima struggled on wet track in Fuji Speed Way for 2015 Super Formula round 3. Kazuki will start from
P8 and Andre P12 for 55 laps race tomorrow.
PETRONAS TEAM TOM’S の中嶋一貴とアンドレ・ロッテラーは、富士スピードウエイで行われた全日本選手権 2015 スーパーフォーミュラ第 3 戦のウエットコンディシ
ョンの予選で苦戦、一貴(中嶋)が 8 番手、アンドレ（ロッテラー）が 12 番手グリッドから決勝をスタートすることとなった。




Kazuki was back in his car No.1 after one race absent due to of injury in WEC
1 戦を欠場していた一貴（中嶋）が WEC で負ったケガから復帰した。
It was very tricky condition that full wet from Q1 to Q3
Q1 から Q3 までフルウエットの難しいコンディションの予選だった。
Andre had hard luck that he missed right time to push in Q2, he was not able to go Q3
アンドレ（ロッテラー）は Q2 でアタックのタイミングをミスしてしまい、Q3 へ進出できなかった。
Kazuki put used rain tire for Q3 but wet track condition did not mach to make time
一貴（中嶋）が装着したユーズドのレインタイヤが Q3 で雨の量とマッチしなかった。

KKAZUKI NAKAJIMA （Driver for car No. 1）
“I had not good feeling with new rain tire in morning free practice and me and Andre were reasonably good in Q1 on used. So we continued to fit used rain
tiers for Q2 and Q3. Car was OK but more rain started middle of the sessions. It was maximum with on used tires on heavy wet track. I will try to make
position up in race tomorrow.”
朝の練習走行でレインのニュータイヤの感触があまり良くなかったし、アンドレ（ロッテラー）もボクもユーズドのタイヤで Q1 のタイムが良かったため、
Q2、Q3 ともにユーズドタイヤを選択した。マシンの調子は良かったのですが、セッションの途中から雨が強くなってきてしまい、ユーズドのタイヤではあ
れが限界だった。決勝では頑張って順位を上げます。
ANDRE LOTTERER （Driver for car No. 2）
“It was bad qualifying again here in Fuji today. And I could not to get through to Q3 as same as Okayama round. I was struggled with on new rain tires in
morning free practice that as Kazuki did. So we set with used tires up for qualifying. Q1 was OK but rain got heavier and I was out of pace from other
drivers. It was really frustrated qualifying but I will try to enjoy race to make position up tomorrow.”
富士の予選は酷かった。岡山と同じように Q3 へ進出することが出来なかった。一貴（中嶋）と同じように朝の練習走行でレインのニュータイヤにてこ
ずったのでユーズドタイヤを装着して予選に臨んだ。Q1 は問題無かったけれど、雨が強くなってペースが上がらなかった。フラストレーションが溜ま
った予選だったが、決勝はレースを楽しんで順位を上げたい。
TSUTOMU TOJO （Engineer for car No. 2）
“Direction of car set up was not bad. And Andre made good time in Q1. But it was quite difficult to try to push in right time and fit right tires today. We put
used tiers all sessions but drivers who fitted new tires made good results in Q2 and Q3. I hope Andre to make point finish tomorrow. ”
セットアップの方向性は悪くはなかったのでアンドレ（ロッテラー）は Q1 で好タイムをマークした。だが、その後の展開では何時、どのタイヤでアタック
するかを判断するのが難しかった。ユーズドのレインタイヤで走行したけれど、結果的にはニュータイヤを装着したドライバーが Q2 と Q3 で良い結果
を出していた。決勝はアンドレ（ロッテラー）に頑張ってもらってポイントゲットしたい。
MASAKI SAEDA （Engineer for car No. 1）
“I did not get right answer which was better, used or new. As the result drivers on with new rain tires made good result in today’s qualifying. But in term of
car balance was good according to Kazuki. Rain got more while he push and new rain tires made better performance of drain. We won in Fuji last year and
I want to make same way tomorrow.”
レインタイヤのユーズドかニューかどちらが良いのか自分にも判断がつかなかった。結果的にはニュータイヤを使ったドライバーが良い結果を残した。
マシンのバランスは良かったのでアタックの時に雨の量が増してニュータイヤの排水性の方が良かったのかも知れない。昨年の富士では勝っている
ので再び勝利を狙いたい。
NOBUHIDE TACHI （Team Director）
“What could I say. It was quite difficult and needed some luck to make better results. Kazuki and Andre made good start in Q1 but stories changed in Q2
and Q3 by rain, amount of rain. It was really difficult to judge to fit right tires, in right moment while transformation of how much of rain fell. Any way I
wish two drivers to show good race and score points. ”
何とコメントしたら良いか・・・。良い結果を出すには難しいコンディションだった、運も身方に付けなくてはならなかった。一貴（中嶋）もアンドレ（ロッテ
ラー）も Q1 では調子が良かったのに雨の量によって Q2 と Q3 で展開が大きく変わってしまった。雨の量が変化する中でどのタイヤを装着するべき
かを判断するのは本当に難しい。決勝では二人のドライバーに頑張ってポイントゲットをしてもらいたい。

PETRONAS Team Tom’s drivers, Kaziki Nakajima finished P2 and Andre Lotterer was P5 in Super Formula championship round 3 at Fuji Speed Way.
PETRONAS TEAM TOM’S の中嶋一貴は、富士スピードウエイで開催されたスーパーフォーミュラ第 3 戦で 2 位フィニッシュ。アンドレ・ロッテラーは、5 位となった。

Kazuki started from 8th spot and he made great start up to P2 on lap 1
一貴(中嶋）は 8 番手から抜群のスタートで 1 周目に 2 位へジャンプアップした。
Andre from 12th spot and he was 8th end of first lap and he made one position up on lap 6
アンドレ（ロッテラー）は 12 番手から 1 周目に 8 位へ、そして 6 周目にもう一つポジションを上げた。
Andre took strategy not to change his tires and came to pit early stage while after 10 laps
アンドレ（ロッテラー）は、10 周目に早めのピットインを行ってタイヤ無交換の作戦をとった。
Kazuya came to pit after 23 laps to keep up his 2nd position.
一貴（中嶋）は 23 周目にピットインしてタイヤ交換を行い 2 位のポジションをキープ。
Kazuki added 8 points for 3rd and Andre got 4 points for 4th in point standings
ポイントランキングは、一貴（中嶋）が 8 ポイントを加算して 3 位、アンドレ（ロッテラー）が 4 ポイント
を獲得して 4 位となっている。

KAZUKI NAKAJIMA （Driver for car No. 1）
“I was focus on start. And I was able to good start to gain positions before first corner. I was
almost caught up J.P.(de Oliveira)’s tale. But safety car came out to course due to of multi
crush at first corner and I had to follow. J.P. made good restart and I kept my position to finish.
After skipped one race, I got another 8 points. I hope to keep on going to collect points. ”
スタートに集中して、1 コーナー手前までに順位を上げることができた。JP（デ・オリベイラ）
を捕らえられそうだったけれど、マルチクラッシュが発生してセイフティカーがコースインし
たので順位を維持しなければならなかった。JP のリスタートが良かったので順位を守って 2
位フィニッシュという結果となった。1 戦を欠場後に 8 ポイントを得ることが出来た。この調子
でポイントを加算して行きたい。
ANDRE LOTTERER （Driver for car No. 2）
“It was not good start because clutch did not bite and start speed was slow but I made few
positions up then accident happened at first corner. I was 8th while safety car run. I took
over one car again after restart. I did not change tires, that was good strategy and I
succeeded to get P4 but finally I was took over by Kunimoto to finish P5. I needed to get
better starting position that means we have to make good qualifying in next race.”
クラッチのミートがあまり良くなくてスタートは良くはなく、スピードも遅かったけれど、いくつかポジションを上げることができた。そしてその後に 1 コーナーでアクシデントが発生し
た。セイフティカーランでは 8 位だったがリスタート後にもう一台をパス。タイヤ交換を行わない作戦で 4 位に順位アップしたけれど、最終的に国本にパスされて 5 位となった。次
戦では良いスタートポジション、つまり予選を頑張らねばならない。
TSUTOMU TOJO （Engineer for car No. 2）
“From 12th spot start to 5th finish, it was not bad and we scored 4 points here in Fuji. Andre was P4 after pit stop by no
tire change but it was tough over tire grip point of view in final part of the 55 laps race and finished P5. We will
concentrate to make better qualifying result and we go for win at Twin Ring Motegi.”
12 番手スタートから 5 位フィニッシュで 4 ポイントを獲得したので結果は悪くはなかった。タイヤ交換は行わずに 4 位
まで順位を上げたけれど、タイヤグリップに関しては 55 周レースの終盤はかなり大変だったので 5 位となった。次戦
のツインリンクもてぎでは予選順位を良くする事に集中し、勝ちたい。
MASAKI SAEDA （Engineer for car No. 1）
“Kazuki made great start, it was amazing. I wished Kazuki to make some position up but it was more than we expected.
If the safety car did not came out in first 5 laps, Kazuki was able to challenge to de Oliveira. But it was maximum to
finish P2 in this race. We try to make good set up in qualifying and race to win the next round.”
一貴（中嶋）のスタートは素晴らしかった。スタートでポジションを上げられればと思っていたけれど、予想以上
の結果だった。最初の 5 周でセイフティカーが入らなかったらデ・オリベイラにアタック出来ていたかも知れない
けれど、今回のレースでは 2 位フィニッシュが限界だったと思う。次戦では予選のセットアップをもっと良くして優
勝を狙いたい。

“Kazuki made it after one race skip. And Andre climbed up from 12th spot to 5th finish. We could not get win but team
and driver out our power to challenge in one. I hope my team to do strong race to win in next race, Motegi.”
1 戦欠場の後に一貴（中嶋）がやってくれた。アンドレ（ロッテラー）も 12 番手スタートから 5 位まで這い上がってきた。
勝つことは出来なかったけれど、チームもドライバー達も一丸となって頑張った。もてぎでは勝ちたいと思っている。
