You can find him in a glass, with red lipstick on his collar. Luscious damson jam and red shiny apples, tropical lychee and ripe pineapple promise riches. Then, controlled, poised and classy, reclining in a battered leather Chesterfield with exotic figs, orange zest, habanero jam and tamarind paste. Softening with time like cashmere, to toffee coated marshmallow and nutty nougat but with the bite of mustard seeds. After 20 years in an ex-bourbon hogshead, we transferred this whisky directly into a port barrique for the remainder of its maturation.
