and extol him with music and song.

For the LORD is the great God,
the great King above all gods…

Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the LORD our Maker;

for he is our God…”
(Psalm 95:1-3,6-7)
1 さあ、主に向かって、喜び歌おう。われらの救いの岩に向かって、喜び叫ぼう。
2 感謝の歌をもって、御前に進み行き、賛美の歌をもって、主に喜び叫ぼう。
3 主は大いなる神であり、すべての神々にまさって、大いなる王である。

David appointed the following Levites to lead the people in worship before the Ark
of the LORD—to invoke his blessings, to give thanks, and to praise the LORD, the God
of Israel. 5 Asaph, the leader of this group, sounded the cymbals. Second to him was
Zechariah, followed by Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obededom, and Jeiel. They played the harps and lyres. 6 The priests, Benaiah and
Jahaziel, played the trumpets regularly before the Ark of God’s Covenant.” (1 Chronicles 16:4-6) 4 それから、レビ人の中のある者たちを、主の箱の前に仕えさせ、イスラエルの神、

And when he took the scroll, the four living beings and the twenty-four elders fell
down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they held gold bowls filled with
incense, which are the prayers of God’s people. 9 And they sang a new song with
these words:
“You are worthy to take the scroll
and break its seals and open it.
For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God
from every tribe and language and people and nation.
10
And you have caused them to become
a Kingdom of priests for our God.
And they will reign[d] on the earth.”
11
Then I looked again, and I heard the voices of thousands and millions of angels
around the throne and of the living beings and the elders. 12 And they sang in a
mighty chorus:
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered—
to receive power and riches
and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and blessing.”

And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in
the sea. They sang:
“Blessing and honor and glory and power
belong to the one sitting on the throne
and to the Lamb forever and ever.”
14
And the four living beings said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and
worshiped”
(Revelation 5:8-14)
8 彼が巻き物を受け取ったとき、四つの生き物と二十四人の長老は、おのおの、立
琴と、香のいっぱいはいった金の鉢とを持って、小羊の前にひれ伏した。この香は
聖徒たちの祈りである。
9 彼らは、新しい歌を歌って言った。「あなたは、巻き物を受け取って、その封印
を解くのにふさわしい方です。あなたは、ほふられて、その血により、あらゆる部
族、国語、民族、国民の中から、神のために人々を贖い、
10 私たちの神のために、この人々を王国とし、祭司とされました。彼らは地上を
治めるのです。」
3 4 11 また私は見た。私は、御座と生き物と長老たちとの回りに、多くの御使いたち
の声を聞いた。その数は万の幾万倍、千の幾千倍であった。
12 彼らは大声で言った。「ほふられた小羊は、力と、富と、知恵と、勢いと、誉
れと、栄光と、賛美を受けるにふさわしい方です。」
13 また私は、天と地と、地の下と、海の上のあらゆる造られたもの、およびその
中にある生き物がこう言うのを聞いた。「御座にすわる方と、小羊とに、賛美と誉
れと栄光と力が永遠にあるように。」
14 また、四つの生き物はアーメンと言い、長老たちはひれ伏して拝んだ。
