初級 UNIT 22 比較 1(比較変 化 ) 形 容 詞 (tall, big, happy など)や副 詞 (fast, early など)は比 較 級 、最 上 級 に変 化 する。 変 化 してい ない元 の形 が原 級 。これらをつかって他 のものと比 べる言 い方 を比 較 の文 である。 例 「～より・・・」 比 較 級 の文 Ken is taller than Yumi. ケンはユミより背 が高 い。 「～の中 で最 も・・・」最 上 級 の文 Ken is the tallest in our school. ケンは私 たちの学 校 で最 も背 が高 い。 「～と同 じくらい・・・」原 級 の文 Ken is as tall as Mark. ケンはマークと同 じくらい背 が高 い。 比 較 級 、最 上 級 への変 化 変 化 の仕 方 つづりの短 い単 語 と長 い単 語 で変 化 の仕 方 が違 う。またどちらにも当 てはまらない不 規 則 変 化 を する単 語 もある。 つづりの短 い単 語 (big, early, easy, fast, large など) 比 較 級 は語 尾 に er を, 最 上 級 は語 尾 に est をつける。 hot や big など「短 母 音 ＋子 音 字 」で終 わるものは最 後 の子 音 字 を重 ねる happy, early など「子 音 +y」で終 わるものは y を i に変 える。 原級 比較級 最上級 big bigger biggest early earlier earliest easy easier easiest fast faster fastest large larger largest つづりの長 い単 語 (beautiful, famous, popular, slowly など) 比 較 級 は前 に more, 最 上 級 は前 に most をおきます。 原級 比較級 最上級 beautiful more beautiful most beautiful slowly more slowly most slowly 不規則な変化 原級 比較級 最上級 good better best well better best many more most much more most 1. 次の文をカッコ内の指 示に従って書き換えなさい。 (1) My mother is young.
